These French Toast Bun Bites are a quick, family-friendly breakfast that turn yesterday’s buns into golden, cinnamon-spiced morsels the kids will love.

Ingredients

To serve:

  • Fresh berries
  • Maple syrup
  • Icing sugar

Slice the burger bun into three thick slices lengthways.

In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk and cinnamon.

Heat butter or coconut oil in a frying pan over medium heat.

Dip each slice into the egg mixture, coating both sides.

Fry until golden brown on both sides.

Remove from the pan and chop into bite-sized cubes.

Serve warm with berries, maple syrup and a dusting of icing sugar.
